We do not do “Spray and Pray” training, meaning we do not suppose to have all the answers to your needs before we have had an opportunity to meet with key staff members and learn about your organization’s unique training situations. We prefer to propose training interventions once we are clear about the skill gaps and current needs of the participant audience. These are the people who ultimately will be implementing the proposed skills on a day-to-day basis, and we have learned that organizational systems cannot change and become more effective, unless the individuals within the organizations choose to change and become more effective as well.

Since true skill development depends on paced, reinforced learning situations, we offer many options and a variety of tools to facilitate adult learning.

During the pre-training analysis phase of our working relationship, we clearly identify and understand participants’ readiness to participate in this training intervention, anticipate any resistance or other barriers, and incorporate training strategies to neutralize, or at least minimize, any potential negative impacts.

We take pride in producing training programs that use a variety of training media (interactive exercises, discussion, lecture, appropriate humor, simulation, games, online courses, video and audio tapes, role play practice, follow-up reinforcement activities, etc.) so that classes are high-energy and fun for participants. When adults enjoy the training experience, they are more likely to learn the content and be willing to apply it when back on the job.
